Insert for saddle pads

Our saddle pads are of course supplied complete with matching inserts, but you can use these inserts to provide additional padding in the saddle pad or to replace existing inserts. They can easily be cut to size.

Cellular rubber:
Highly shock-absorbent, yields little and is relatively firm.
Excellent for padding and changing the saddle position if you want to raise the saddle in front or behind. For example, on a horse with a very dominant broad shoulder area, you can double pad the rear area of the saddle pad to bring the saddle into balance and prevent it from tending backwards. In the case of an overbuilt horse, additional padding should be added in the front area. Thickness: 12 mm

PU foam:
Pliable and much more adaptable than cellular rubber Very good pressure compensating properties Compensates for irregularities at certain points (e.g. sebaceous glands in the coat). Thickness: 15 mm
