You can buckle this sidepull into any conventional snaffle. Either directly into the ring or at the noseband itself just before the ring.

It consists of a tear-resistant core and a soft braided sheath (polypropylene). It retains its shape without the need to incorporate a hard wire core. It is so flexible that it immediately adapts to the shape of the horse's head. A wire core can be additionally worked into the wide thickness. This gives a sharper effect similar to the coiled look but still has the softer sheath.

Horses that are used to being ridden with a bit usually accept the noseband very well and react amazingly finely to the aids. It is particularly suitable for western and leisure riders who prefer to ride on a long rein with signal aids. Due to the direct pull of the reins, a strong influence is achieved which is all the sharper the narrower the nose piece is chosen. It is also suitable for the English riding style as a sharper variation to the wide noseband. However, since the pressure is applied to a small area, the horse should not be subjected to constant rein pull.
