Liquorice root cares for mucous membranes in the digestive and respiratory tract and supports the natural function of the stomach lining and bronchial tubes. It has been used in naturopathy since ancient times. The most important ingredients are secondary plant substances such as triterpene saponins and flavonoids.

100 % liquorice root, cut.

Analytical constituents:
Crude fibre 21 %

Instructions for use
Depending on the size of the horse, add 1 to 3 tablespoons of liquorice root to ½ litre of water daily; simmer gently for 15 minutes. Add the cooled brew and the root pieces to the feed. Take a break after about 3 weeks.

Note: Not suitable for pregnant mares.

Feeding recommendation Mix 1 to 3 heaped tablespoons of liquorice root from PerNaturam into the feed daily, depending on the size of the horse. Better still: Boil the root pieces with water and a little vinegar and add the decoction as well as the root pieces to the hay or feed. Mix aniseed-cumin-fennel with a decoction of liquorice. Analytical constituents and contents Crude fibre 41 %.
